Parent Spotlight
Fakrudeen Mohammad
- How many children do you have enrolled at NISL? How long have they been attending the school?
- One child. Attending since November 2012.
- As a parent, what are the reasons why you chose NISL from among all the other schools to educate your children?
- Because it is an Islamic school. We moved near NISL so that our daughter can attend an Islamic school.
- What are some of the main things that you like about the school?
- Learning Arabic, Quran and du’as, Hijab, Greeting and all other activities are done in an Islamic way. The teachers are really good.
- Would you recommend that other parents enroll their children to attend NISL? Why or why not?
- Definitely yes, I will recommend (insha’Allah). All kids need to have a strong foundation in Islamic Studies. In the current century, we need leaders who are good in Islamic Studies and who can guide and help people to succeed in this life and the eternal life.
- Do you have any additional comments?
- There is always room for improvement as we move ahead. Having competitions for the students and giving them prizes to encourage them, and also so that they interact with students from other schools who can learn more about Islam and about the good things that we have to offer.
