About Our Class
My teaching style is hands on and I like to do a lot of activities with my students. I believe the best way for children to learn new things is by encouraging them and making the topic fun and interesting for them so that they will be motivated and engaged with the subject. Our students start everyday with an opening introduction, followed by a review of the concepts that they learned the previous day to keep knowledge fresh in their minds. Several times throughout the week, I teach the students a hadeeth, surah, and du'a. The students get excited when we watch educational videos that are related to what we are learning about the Quran, Arabic, and Islam. |
About Me
My name is Sister Bothaina Ali. I have been teaching Quran & Arabic at NISL for 8 years. I graduated from University of Quds in Palestine. I really enjoy teaching my students, and I have very high expectations for them all. I strive to keep them focused on learning Quran & Arabic, as well as instill in them a strong sense of Islamic identity founded in our teachings and beliefs. |
